Events like OSCAFest, DevFest, and CHAOSScon have gained popularity, drawing developers from various regions of the country to engage in enriching discussions and collaborations. Reflecting on my experience at DevFest Ajah 2023, the event served as a vibrant space for making new connections with like-minded tech enthusiasts, some of whom I am still in contact with today.
However, as much as these events are enjoyable, particularly when seasoned professionals share their journeys and knowledge, there exists room for improvement in the variety of topics presented. Many of the common topics submitted for call for papers (CFP) tend to be repetitive, occasionally leaving attendees without a choice that aligns with their diverse interests in the tech space.

To address this, I propose a solution that could particularly benefit larger events. Before opening the CFP, event organizers could implement a Google form. This form would offer a diverse selection of engaging topics across different tech categories, drawing inspiration from successful topics presented at other events. Attendees could also suggest topics of personal interest. This approach aims to reduce instances where none of the proposed topics resonates with the diverse group of developers attending the event.
